EXPERIMENTS IN TRUTH - THE HEART OF COMPASSION
led by Durga Devi
This year long course
explores the 37 Practices of a Bodhisattva
from a Yogic perspective.
Durga Devi is a student of Truth,
and a practitioner of Yoga since her teenage years; a teacher of yoga for over 20 years, and a lifelong student of sacred
and harmonious living.
Her lineage includes devotional practice of
Bhakti Yoga with transmission of
Neem Karoli Baba's energy
through Bhagavan Das and Ram Dass,
both whom have Tibetan Buddhist Lineages,
and both have introduced these teachings to Durga Devi,
with Bhagavan Das encouraging her to pursue the altruistic practices of a Boddhisattva.
Durga Devi also has connection with the Krishna Lineage
with transmission from Shri Radhanath Swami,
and Shri Padma-ji, Sharon Gannon.
(founder of Jivamukti Yoga)
The TRUTH is the WAY.
This is why this program came into being, as an opportunity for others to also explore TRUTH of both paths and for each person to find THEIR WAY.
In addition to the main text book, we will explore teachings and practices from the Yogic Texts :
❤️ Patanjali's Yoga Sutra
❤️ The Hatha Yoga Pradipika
❤️ The Srimad Bhagavatam
PRACTICES INCLUDE:
MANTRA 🌟 MEDITATION 🌟PRANAYAMA
ASANA 🌟 DAILY RITUALS
CREATIVE EXPRESSIONS
AND EXPERIMENTS IN TRUTH
This program is offered with the greatest love and respect of
my teachers and the lineages.
What is a Bodhisattva?
A bodhisattva is a being who has
generated bodhicitta,
a spontaneous wish
and compassionate mind
to attain Buddhahood
(an enlightened state of being)
for the benefit of all sentient beings.
Mahayana bodhisattvas are spiritually heroic persons
who work to attain awakening
and are driven by a great compassion.
How will you Benefit
from this program and the practices?
🌟 You will be supported while taking on this
profound shift in attitude,
that rebels from the social norms.
🌟 The Bodhisattva is a Rebel.
The practices go against our cultural norms, and return us
to our true nature of Compassion.
🌟 Break free from self-centeredness
and experience REAL lasting Happiness and Freedom.
These radical practices include:
🌹 Caring about others' needs
more than your own
🌹 Transcending small mindedness
🌹 Uncovering your TRUE potential for
COMPASSION, LOVE and WISDOM
This shift motivates us to go beyond the limits imposed by the illusions of "I" and "me" and "mine" and leads us into
ABSOLUTE Reality,
transcending the dualistic concepts of
"self" and "other".
THIS is *Enlightenment.
THIS is the end of suffering.
(*Enlightment is not guaranteed,
but it is possible!)
🌟 If you are looking to
reduce suffering in your life,
this program is for you.
🌟 If you are interested in
ending suffering in others lives,
this program is definitely for you.
🌟 If you wish to join a community of high thinking, simple living,
and compassionate human beings,
this program is for you.
🌟 If you authentically wish
to improve your self,
this program is for you.
🌟 If you are truly intrigued to learn and engage in the practices of a Bodhisattva
and of high Yogis,
this program is for you.
THIS PROGRAM IS NOT FOR
ENTERTAINMENT -
IT'S PURPOSE IS FOR INNER-ATTAINMENT.
May ALL Sentient BEINGS everywhere, BE FREE.
(painting by Mandara, Durga Devi's Aunt)
with Ram Dass
He transmitted the unconditional Love of Neem Karoli Baba to my heart.
Ram Dass was and still is
'Loving Awareness."
He continues to guide me
on my path of service
which he defined for me and Shiva Das as
"Bringing souls to God."
His path merged Buddhism and Hinduism together along with honoring his heritage
of being born into
a Jewish Family.
with Bhagavan Das
+ Sharadha Devi
Baba and Sharada introduced me to the depth of chanting and the Text book,
by Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche,
The Heart of Compassion.
Baba has deep lineage in
Tibetan Buddhism
and is a living example of the two paths merging into one.
Being with and chanting with
Bhagavan Das has lit a fire
of Tapas
(enthusiastic discipline)
in my being.
with Radhanath Swami
Radhanath Swami appeared in my life through gifts from above.
I can not explain it all but he truly is a living miracle and blessing.
Through his Journey Home,
he brings me home.
He is Living Bhakti - Living devotion and has inspired me on my path to the highest levels of Yoga
(union with the divine).
Through the Lineage of his Guru,
Abhay Charanaravinda Bhaktivedanta
Swami Prabhupada,
(Krishna Consciousness Movement),
I have been re-inspired and committed
to read and reflect on the ancient text:
The Srimad Bhagavatam
"the glorious devotees of Vishnu"

"When I signed up for the Chakra Year-Long Program,
I really didn’t know how amazing the year was going to be.
Exploring and experiencing the Chakras so intimately was very empowering. Durga Devi led us through each Chakra with mantras, mudras, meditations, asanas and special messages from her teachers; all to help us to become more than what we believe we are.
She is truly a lovely and gifted teacher filled with unlimited compassion and patience.
I learned so much about myself this year through doing these practices.
I had to dig deep to shed some beliefs and patterns that were essentially holding me back from living a
freer and more fulfilling version
of the life I had been living.
The monthly Satsangs were another part of the journey that I absolutely cherished.
Connecting with others who want to help create and spread peace in the world can be rare.
Our group gatherings consisted of sharing personal experiences through tears, laughs and were always filled with love and hope.

"The Warrior's Journey 2 course was a beacon of light in a very challenging year for me.
Durga Devi + Shiva Das and the other students provided a safe and nurturing space for me to share and grow unlike no other I've ever experienced.
To be under the guidance of such experienced, knowledgable and REAL teachers for all the ups and downs of the year was a blessing.
The practices I've learned the community I now share with the other students will nurture my soul for years to come.
I can't recommend this course enough! Anyone interested in personal growth or being part of a loving yoga community with authentic teachers who are walking the path themselves, should not let this opportunity pass you by!
Authentic teachers are hard to find!"

"The Warriors Journey Chakra Immersion Year Long Program this year is so rich and full.
All of the teachings,
meditations and asana practices were so well thought out.
The best thing is the small community of sincere participants which supported each other this year.
Everyone has become so close.
Durga Devi is without a doubt a sincere and authentic
teacher and leader.
She teaches by example and lives
what she teaches to others.
She is both fierce and compassionate
and very giving of her time.
Durga Devi is worth studying with,
if you are ready to make leaps in your life
to become a real human being,
embrace your unique self
and find more joy and peace
in this one life.
Don’t miss the opportunity…
don’t put it off to next year.
The time is now.
Seize this one precious moment!"
