If you would like to bring an offering of fruit or flowers, these are welcome.
If you have a stone, crystal or Murti that you would like blessed during the evening please bring these with you.

Altar Etiquette
You are welcome to approach the Altar during the evening.
It is customary to be on the knees and bow in a gesture of humility and gratitude.
Vibbhuti will be available.
Vibhutti is sacred ash that you place on your third eye, throat and heart using the Ring Finger of the Right Hand.
This is symbolic for purification of the heart (intention),
throat (speech + all communication)
and vision that is based on truth.
You may then offer fruit, flowers or a flower petal to the deity or on the altar.

in the basement of a Church in Royal Oak, the first home of House of Yoga.
Our hearts sing in the key of Bhakti, with roots tracing back to the divine Neem Karoli Baba—Maharaji's grace conveyed through the teachings of spiritual luminaries like Ram Dass, Bhagavan Das + Krishna Das.
Our lives are a tribute to the sacred rhythm of Mantra and Kirtan, practices that we joyously share in our community events and pujas.
